Our work and objectives

What We Do

Six areas of service

Working for a stronger insurance community

Our programmes balance professional welfare with public education and responsible engagement across the insurance sector.

01

Consumer Awareness

We counter false or misleading claims concerning insurance settlements and encourage accurate public understanding of claim processes, procedures and timelines.

02

Advocacy for Agents & Advisors

We receive and examine grievances concerning professional conduct, commission disputes, unfair termination and unfair treatment, and represent appropriate matters before insurers, IRDAI and other forums.

03

Training & Capacity Building

We conduct and support training, skill development and continuing education programmes that improve competence, compliance and ethical standards.

04

Research & Transparency

We undertake and commission factual studies on claim settlement ratios, grievance redressal timelines and relevant industry data.

05

Stakeholder Engagement

We liaise with IRDAI, the Insurance Ombudsman, insurance councils, consumer forums and other relevant institutions.

06

Public Education

We organise seminars, workshops and awareness campaigns on insurance literacy, claim procedures and grievance redressal.
